About Foundations Christian School...
In 2012, Foundations Christian Preschool was opened in Horseheads, NY offering an affordable, part-time, Christian schooling experience for 3-4-year-olds. The following year we expanded - BIG TIME! Foundations Christian school now offers grades PreK - 8th.
Our school has a core group of God-loving teachers who provide instruction for all the main subjects. We also have support staff who supplement instruction according to their gifts and talents (Ex. Art, Music, Technology, Gym, ect.) & we strongly encourage parental involvement!
We are now a ministry of The Bridge Wesleyan Church (Formerly known as Big Flats Wesleyan Church).

The curriculum we use is a combination of our favorite pieces from various homeschooling packages. The bulk of what we use is Bob Jones University Press and Abeka among other proven educational programs. No single curriculum includes what is best for every learner so we do our best to find the strengths and weaknesses of our students and tailor their education to best suit their needs. Our collections and library are growing fast thanks to some generous donations! |

Our Statement of Faith
We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God, and that it is the supreme and final authority in faith and life. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious death, and our atonement through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father where He is now interceding for us as High Priest and Advocate, and we expect His personal return soon for His church.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, according to the Scriptures, justified by the vicarious merit of His shed blood.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a fruitful obedience to God’s laws.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved into everlasting joy in Heaven with Christ; the lost into everlasting conscious torment in Hell with Satan.
