The Staff at FCS
Welcome to the staff page at Foundations Christian School! We are excited that you have taken the time to visit and get to know our staff and their hearts for your children!
Foundations Christian School is focused on providing your children a well-rounded education. One aspect is to provide quality specials (electives) that will enhance your child's learning! These special classes include Art, General Music, Chorus, Physical Education, Bible, and Chapel.
Our teachers' goals are threefold. The first is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where students can thrive. Secondly, they desire to give your students a strong education that will provide them with a foundation for being a lifelong learner. Lastly, but most importantly, they want your children to grow in their walk with God and have a deep, personal relationship with Him.

Ms. Carrie AloMs. Alo has been a part of Foundations Christian School since 2014. She is our school Principal and music teacher. She has four children and in her spare time, she teaches piano lessons. She is a phenomenal baker and she likes to raise monarch butterflies.

Ms. Rebecca CacciaMs. Caccia is our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This is her 6th year teaching and her 11th year sending her kids to this school. She has 7 children and 1 grandchild!

Mrs. Lauren OlsenMrs. Olsen is our 1st and 2nd grade teacher. She joined FCS in 2024. She has her bachelors degree from Houghton College and has been working with children since she was a teenager. She has 3 kids, 1 dog, and 1 cat. In her spare time, she likes to serve at her church, bake fancy cakes and cupcakes, and teach piano and vocal lessons. Mrs. Olsen's birthstone is a coffee bean, and she loves turtles and the color purple.

Ms. Marie SherwoodMs. Sherwood is our 3rd & 4th grade teacher. She joined the FCS family in 2024. She has a bachelors degree in education from Houghton College. She loves braiding and babies, campfires and clotheslines, hiking and hoodies.

Ms. Mackenzy DwyerMs. Dwyer is our 5th grade teacher and has a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art. This will be her 8th year teacher at FCS! She loves how everyone at FCS makes you feel like family, and she enjoys bringing her creativity to not only her classroom, but to her students as well. When out of the classroom, she enjoys hiking and painting.

Ms. Cris BishopMs. Bishop started teaching at Foundations Christian School in March 2021. She was the 5th and 6th grade teacher and she loved it. She is currently our 6th grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. She is a piano teacher also and especially loves teaching Bible class. Outside of school, she loves spending time with her five grandchildren.

Ms. Cayla NardeMs. Narde is our 7th & 8th grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. She is a wife of almost 8 years and mother of 3 little girls. She has her Associates Degree in Early Education and just earned her Bachelor's Degree from South Eastern University. This will be her fifth year teaching at FCS. She loves that FCS has built a foundation with Jesus at the center while providing a solid education. Her favorite part of FCS is the positive, loving, and uplifting atmosphere. One of her favorite verses, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6 ESV).
