​It's with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Foundations Christian School. We want to thank our families, teachers, and the Bridge Church for a wonderful journey over the past 14 years!

Foundations Christian School served families in the Elmira/Corning/Horseheads area from 2012 - 2026. During that time, we expanded from only offering Pre-K a few days a week to a 5-day-a-week school that accepted students from Pre-K to 8th grade.

What to Expect When You Chose FCS

  • Chapel Services - ​At FCS, we hold chapel services twice a week, and students attend once, depending on their age group. Your children will love being active participants in our chapel services. We sing praise and worship songs together, have special speakers, and quite often, our students even have the opportunity to lead.

  • ​A Family Focus ​(Minimal Homework) - We believe that a balanced education is a solid education. Your kids will work hard in school all day long, and when they go home, we want them to rest, play, and enjoy being kids. Our goal is never to load our students up with homework. We’ll do our very best to ensure their classwork is just that - classwork.
 
  • A Loving and ​Encouraging Atmosphere​ - Studies have shown that students who receive encouraging words from their teachers are significantly more likely to continue in their education past the age of 16. If you’ve been looking for a positive environment for your kids to attend school, you’ll find it at Foundations Christian School. We truly function more like a big family. Our students love to help each other be successful, and our teachers enjoy using positive reinforcement and encouraging words to teach their classes.
